• LABOURING AWAY>>>

  If you are looking to earn some good money, do some varied and interesting work, and have fun while you do then i'd whole-heartedly recommend Workmates to you. As a former student scratching around the various job agencies in my area for work i was often given some pretty mundane and insipid work (packing books in a factory, answering calls in a call centre, etc, etc). But a friend and neighbour recommended this company to me as a site manager himself for a large construction company, and with one call to them was immediately offered work, starting straight away. Now you have to remember that for the unskilled among us labouring can be just as mundane and insipid as working in a factory. But for a summer vocation in which you'd like to get fit, have a laugh, earn money, and if the weathers good..get a tan, then there is no finer way to while away the summer months. I've always found Workmates very approachable, and they always remember you once you've worked for them before. They can pretty much find you work striaght away, in your area, and have always been very friendly and helpful to boot. As i drop out of the rat race this summer before starting my teaching degree i shall be giving them a call and getting some work so i can have some fun and work hard before it begins. I'm looking forward to donning the hard hat again, re-establishing muscle definition that i thought i had lost from sitting on my derierre in a clinical office environment, and most importantly, doing some work where i can see a physical difference on a day-to-day basis. ...Now i'd better just give them a call....

• Going the extra mile

  I have known and done business with Workmates since they set up about 20 years ago. My experience is they always give that little extra effort and service which puts them in front of the competition. In addition, the majority of tradesmen they have supplied me have made the same comment - they too have been well satisfied.
