The Concept 2000 was initially released in 1989 and was a revolutionary product in its day such that it offered multiple Partitions or Areas from a single Control Panel. It was also one of the first products in the world to truly integrate Intruder Alarm and Access Control functionality on one panel. The Concept 2000 and its smaller relative the Concept 1000, set the standard in the Security industry for much of the next decade. Due to its robust product design, these products are still being manufactured.

Several more years experience in designing, manufacturing and supporting a world-leading integrated security system, led to the release in 1997 of a new technology platform - the Concept 3000. The Concept 3000 along with the larger capacity Concept Access 4000, furthered the integration of advanced Alarm handling, Access Control and Building Management features within the one system. New system features, Modules and Software have been progressively added since the initial product release.

Over 50,000 Concept systems are installed world-wide and can be found in every conceivable Commercial, Industrial and Institutional application ranging from Prisons to Gold Mines and from Banks to Universities.
