The latest addition to the range of therapies available at White Rowan Therapies is Hot Stones Massage. Becoming increasing popular in the Western world, hot stone massage involves smooth lava stones which are heated to a comfortably warm temperature prior to treatment. The stones are used to massage the body and are also placed on the body in specific places. The heat from the stones gently warms and relaxes muscles, encouraging deeper relaxation and enhancing the effects of the massage movements.
