• EPC certificates for our Wokingham properties prepared quickly and professionally

  I contacted three companies via the web late one evening and received a detailed quote from Mr Mel Bury by 0830 the next morning; one company didn't reply at all and the third took a week to respond after I chased them up. So I decided to use 3Counties because first impressions count and they offered a discount for reporting on two properties. When I was ready to proceed, I rang Mel and he offered to survey one property that morning and the other that afternoon.While performing the surveys, Mel gave me a lot of useful advice verbally, in addition to the information in the reports. Mel takes his job seriously and performed the surveys carefully and efficiently. The reports were mailed to me the same evening, so I am very satisfied with the service received.   I found 3 Counties easily and simply via Google search for EPC's on Google. The service was equally as simple and smooth; an apointment the enxt working day and the completed EPC was in my possession later the same day. I would highly recommend 3 Counties for EPC's to any landlord looking for an EPC in Berkshire. Great Service.

• Fast and efficient EPC

  Having found to our horror that an EPC was not held for a property in Bracknell we contacted 3counties- admittedly not the first call made but the first to answer personally, answer all questions (many as new to property management) and complete the EPC the next day! I would thoroughy recommend 3counties to anyone requiring inspections.

• Professional local EPC company

  Putting your house on the market now requires an Energy Performance Certificate, and after receiving a price from the estate agent I decided to commission an EPC directly. 3Counties were not actually the first company I used, I did what I am sure a lot of people do and used the internet to search for a company to provide the report. Being short of time I selected one of the biggest companies at the top of the listing who promised an "express" service. In summary after taking my money and promising a survey within 48 hours I then spent 3 weeks chasing the company who don't answer their phone for a survey before having to resort to getting the credit card company involved to recover the money! 3Counties were a polar opposite to that experience, when I contacted them and left a message to request a quote they returned my call inside 30 minutes. Information was provided on what was required, including advice that the builders original energy certificate was no longer valid, and everything was explained. Mel I spoke to was able to arrange an appointment later that week to conduct the survey, and all points of the survey were explained and any questions answered. Information was even offered to avoid questions later, such as if a certain percentage of the loft insulation cannot be inspected a default rating based on the age of the property has to be given. 3Counties are not the cheapest, but it seems the cheapest options, while they may appear to be large corporations, are not always what they seem. They are certainly more competitive then the local estate agents. At the end of the day your also inviting someone into your home to inspect every room, so its not worth taking the risk of not using a local professional company who you can rely on. Highly recommended.

  the company(mel) was able to come round very quickly and offered a great service at a very good rate for an EPC. As well as this he was friendly and reliable and it all came through on time as promised. Would recommend them to anyone and would definately go back to them myself in the future. dan from Reading.
