Brief description

Dancia International in Caversham, Reading, is the newest branch of Britain's largest dancewear retailer. We stock clothing and shoes for all ages and all styles of dance and gymnastics, including ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz shoes, character shoes, ballroom and latin shoes, Irish dancing shoes, local dance school uniforms, gymnastics leotards, skating dresses and skating tights. We also offer a specialist pointe shoe fitting service, and stock Bloch, Gaynor Minden and Grishko pointe shoes.

    I came all the way from Liverpool to kit my daughter up with a brand new ballet outfit for her dance school. I had been told about this shop and how good the service is, so i thought i would see for myself ! I was amazed at how helpfull and polite the staff were ! I managed to get everything i needed, and i have recommened it to all my friends !

    I'd heard about this new shop and so went along to have a look. I was impressed with the amount of stock and found the staff helpful. I will be back again when my daughter needs some new dancewear.

  • 5 Great news for dancers!

    We travelled all the way from Swindon for this store, and we weren’t disappointed. My daughter needed Gaynor Minden pointe shoes. Her teacher had told us to buy them from an official stockist, and Dancia in Reading was the nearest. The pointe shoe fitter was very thorough, and her Gaynor Minden fitting certificate was displayed on the wall, which was reassuring. Afterwards, we had a good look round the shop. It’s more spacious than most dance shops, and they have some lovely things. I ended up treating my daughter to a couple of new leotards and some Pineapple jazz pants. A lovely shop and well worth the trip!

    What a relief to have such a fantastic dance shop in Reading. The staff were so friendly and knew exactly what I needed for my daughter's ballet class. I will definately be going back.
